RUSTOM JOKHI
Managing Director, SF Jokhi & Co Ltd., Hong Kong
Rustom Jokhi is one of Hong Kong’s
most respected and successful business
leaders renowned for his business acumen
and visionary leadership.
Born in 1961, he obtained his Degree
in Economics, majoring in Accounting
and Finance, from the University of
Buckingham, UK, in 1986. His prolific
career started when he joined Citicorp
Scrimgeour Vickers in its Investment
Banking Department and later moved on
and set up SF Jokhi & Co Ltd in 1992 in
Hong Kong, dealing in raw cotton.
Over the years he has added new
dimension to the company and
proved himself to be the master of the
unexpected. Today SF Jokhi & Co Ltd is a
dynamic enterprise.
Hailing from a family known for its charity
works and being the son of philanthropist
Keki Jokhi and nephew of late Shapoorji
Fakirji Jokhi who bestowed their wealth in
their homeland India, he has endeavoured
to walk in the footsteps of his famous
forebearers and supports the noblest of
causes around the world.
His family provides support to the
Ruttonjee Hospital, Red Cross and
Save the Children, among others, and
contributes both materially and with its
time and energy.
Rustom also sits on the Board of the
Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Hong Kong,
Canton and Macao as a Trustee.
His belief in the philosophy that “giving is
better than receiving” is admirable. He is
involved in different charitable initiatives
and projects around the world, some of
which have already come to fruition and
the rest will be completed in the next few
years.
