Nadir Godrej serves as the Managing
Director of Godrej Industries, a
family business group operating in India
since 1897.

The group consists of 6 divisions – Godrej
Properties, Godrej Consumer Products,
Godrej Household Products, Godrej
Hershey, Godrej Agrovet and Nature’s
Basket Ltd. With a large work force and
commendable progress the superlatives
just keep adding for this highly respected
business house operating across several
industry sectors of the global economy.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Chemical Engineering from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering
from Stanford University and an MBA
from Harvard University, Nadir Godrej
is also the Chairman of Godrej Agrovet
Limited (GAVL) a diversified agribusiness
company dedicated to improving the
productivity of Indian farmers by
innovating products and services that
sustainably increase crop and livestock
yields.

Nadir Godrej also serves on the board
of several companies in Godrej Group
and sits on the boards of Mahindra &
Mahindra, Tata Teleservices and Taj
Hotels. He is President of The Alliance
Française De Bombay, and Member of
CII National Council; Harvard Business
School Association of India; MIT Alumni
Association; and Stanford Alumni
Association. Deeply known for his
fondness for poetry and mathematics,
he speaks 7 languages Hindi, Gujarati,
English, French, Spanish, German and
Italian.

He was conferred by the Government of
France the prestigious Awards - 'Chevalier
De L’Ordre National Du Merite' (2002)
and 'Chevalier De La Legion D’ Honneur'
(2007).
